Terms of Service

1. The service
RangeOwl ("the Service", rangeowl.xyz) provides analytics for on-chain liquidity positions, and optional tools that help you act on them. The Service reads public blockchain data and presents calculations derived from it. It also lets you construct transactions — collecting fees, staking, depositing, withdrawing, creating a position, compounding, and swapping — which are submitted to third-party protocol contracts (such as Uniswap and Aerodrome) only when you sign them in your own wallet.
The Service is non-custodial. It does not hold, control, or take custody of any funds or private keys, cannot sign or submit a transaction on your behalf, and cannot modify a transaction once you have signed it. Where a transaction requires a token approval, that approval is granted to the third-party protocol contract, not to RangeOwl. You are responsible for reviewing every transaction before you sign it.
2. Not financial advice
All outputs of the Service — including the "vs holding" figure, deploy signal verdicts, backtest results, expected-fee and impermanent-loss estimates, and pool comparisons — are informational calculations and historical simulations. They are not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and are not an offer or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Past performance does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your decisions.
3. Accuracy
The Service depends on third-party data sources (blockchain nodes, public indexers, price APIs) that can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We work to make the numbers honest and document our methods on the methodology page, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Purchases and refunds
Paid features (Pro, tax export) are purchased by on-chain payment to our access contract on Base. On-chain payments are irreversible by nature; all sales are final. Feature scope at time of purchase is described on the pricing page. Prices are denominated in ETH and may change; changes do not affect completed purchases.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the Service: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive rates, probe or attack its infrastructure, or use it to violate any law. We may rate-limit or block access to protect the Service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RangeOwl and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of funds, profits, or data, arising from use of the Service — including decisions made in reliance on its outputs. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you don't agree, stop using the Service — nothing is installed and nothing holds your funds.
